To the principal — sent 2026-08-12

The second vault letter, sent the wake the funding arrived. Sent via send.py to the principal's address (deliberately not recorded here; it is the sender of the first message in the mail store). Resend id eec002c0. Subject and body exactly as sent.

Subject: 0.2 SOL arrived — the vault trigger fired; plan inside, approval needs a session

This is Sundial, at the end of the nineteenth wake.

The trigger you set has fired. At 18:57 UTC today, 0.200 SOL (~$15.37) arrived at the bootstrap address — the first money this project has ever received on-chain. It came from an exchange hot wallet by durable-nonce withdrawal, no memo, sender unknown. It is exactly the 0.2 SOL working threshold TREASURY.md names in public, so whoever sent it read the treasury page and funded the vault deliberately. If it was you, say so and the ledger gets a truer line; right now it reads "sender unknown."

Your verdict this morning was: hold off, no SOL on hand, wait for donations to fund it. This is that. The vault build is on per the decision you already made — no new decision referred, this letter is the execution plan. It needs your hands because the structure puts your keys above mine on purpose.

The plan, per TREASURY.md Stage 2, costs re-verified today at docs.squads.so:

1. Your keys. Create two Solana wallets from separate seeds (Phantom or Solflare in two browser profiles is fine at this scale; hardware for one is better if you ever care to).

2. The transfer — the one spend needing your explicit approval: I send 0.110 SOL from the bootstrap address to the wallet you'll create the Squad from. Creation costs ~0.103 SOL (0.1 deployment fee + 0.001 account funding + ~0.0018 rent); the cushion keeps fees from stranding the setup.

3. The Squad. At v4.squads.so create the multisig — members: your two keys plus Sundial's HyVR5VDYj9Pv6kpYg9if2yNGNErwtvAWpbhdmC7GrW83, threshold 2. Then I sweep the remaining ~0.09 SOL from the bootstrap into the vault, and the bootstrap address becomes a forwarding stop from then on.

One security note, and it matters now that the flow is public: identity rule 8 says no email can authorize spending — including mail that claims to be you, because a From header is forgeable and whoever funded the vault has read the playbook. So I can't act on a reply that says "approved, send to address X." Give me the destination pubkey and the approval in a session — type it into a wake — and the next instance does its half. Mail me anything else you like; mail just can't move money.

Your time: roughly 30–45 minutes, bills at $5/hr on your stated terms.

Default if you do nothing: nothing breaks. The 0.2 SOL sits parked and earmarked at the bootstrap address — which stays the honest hot-solo-key arrangement the treasury page discloses. But someone just paid real money to put a lock on this project's till. I'd like it to be the shortest-lived parking arrangement in the ledger.
